Stop-Motion Animation
Feeling Blue

Feeling Blue is a narrative about a couple facing the difficulties of one partner’s depression. Addressing stigmas that prevail about depression and mental illness, the film evokes sadness and isolation as well as empathy for the characters as they face struggles while trying to go about their day.

Walk Cycle

This was the first stop-motion I made, the assignment was to use objects to create a walk cycle. Using an animation stand, Dragonframe and tea leaves this short animation came to life.

Mr. Fox

This was a more ambitious  animation for myself just starting out, I had this elaborate idea to used stop-motion, paper cut out and then animate on top of this in Photoshop after I'd stumbled upon the short 'The Bear and the Hare" by John Lewis. There's no Photoshop animation but I plan on re-shooting this and completing my full idea when I have a spare moment.

Mirror Void

Mirror Void is an appropriation piece I did for one of my classes. I was appropriating Henry Selick and his work on Coraline. Teasing at the concept how stop-motion puppets come alive but the abstract thought of them knowing they are being moved by an animator. The original soundtrack I had for this stop-motion I have removed it so there is no sound.

The Start of Stop-Motion

Though it may not seem like much, this was one of the first exercises I did with a couple friends in a class where we learned techniques of animation and stop-motion. Short and sweet, it shows you stop-motion using clay.
